Antonio Salume is a Mexican filmmaker born and raised in Mexico City. His films explore nuances in identity through the intersection of family, social pressures, and culture in Latin American and Middle Eastern communities. His work has been screened at festivals like Shorts México and he recently screened his latest short film at The Academy Museum in Los Angeles. Antonio began his career in film working as an assistant to acclaimed director Alejandro G. Iñárritu and producer Pablo Cruz, and working at companies like A24, Cinereach, and El Estudio. He is a Dolby x Ghetto Film School "Finish the Script" winner and an NYU Tisch School of the Arts graduate where he studied film, TV, and business of entertainment.
